Mainstage Theatre Company is committed to offering accessible musical theatre training to all young actors aged 11-21. The Aubrey & Marla Dan Foundation Bursary Program permits Mainstage to offer an increased amount of full and partial bursaries to support those who would otherwise not be able to participate in our programming.

Eligibility
Any individual auditioning for a Mainstage production is able to apply. The full application is due no later than the final day of auditions in order to be eligible.
The following materials are required in full to be considered for a bursary.
1- Application Form
2- Tax Assessment from the previous calendar year
3- Short letter stating need for bursary
Those interested in applying for a bursary are encouraged to email [email protected].
MTC is committed to providing all talented youth access to its arts educational experiences, regardless of financial means. Through the generous support of the Aubrey and Marla Dan Foundation we have a bursary program that for several years has supported this mission. Due to the significant rise in bursary applications and grants for our last production, we will only have the funding to provide partial bursaries for the upcoming production of Cinderella. Applications are confidential and can be submitted via email to [email protected].
An impartial committee will consider all applications. At all times, these decisions are kept separate from casting decisions. Both successful bursary recipients and those who are not being offered a bursary will be notified prior to casting decisions. The availability of bursaries is dependent on the amount of applicants received and the need of each applicant.
