AUDITION INFORMATION
First round of auditions is now closed.

Supplementary Audition registration is NOW OPEN for our fall production. For youth ages 11-21. Please click on the "Register Here" to learn more about auditioning the available remaining roles! Roles Available: 
Muhumuza - An African passenger who doesn't understand English, and is protective of his wife and daughter. Sings in Swahili.

Bob - A hardened, highly suspicious African American male New Yorker who slowly sheds his jadedness as he experiences Gander's hospitality

Ali - A Middle Eastern professional world traveler, Chef and stranded Muslim passenger. Speaks in both English and Arabic.

Hannah - An African American mother to a firefighter in Manhattan. She awaits news of her son. A contemporary Soprano with a strong high mix.

ENSEMBLE - Many smaller featured lower voiced roles still up for grabs, great opportunity for those who are brand new to theatre. Including but not limited to: 


     Rabbi - Based on real-life Rabbi Leivi Sudak, the head of Chabad of Edgware in London. Sings in Hebrew.

      Dwight -Employee at Gander International Airport who reports to air traffic control that planes are being              treated as bomb threats.Baritone/Baritenor voice.

ENSEMBLE - 
Many smaller featured lower voiced roles still up for grabs, great opportunity for those who are brand new to theatre.

Tuition:
The tuition rate is $1751.00 ($1550 + HST) and includes rehearsals, one week of tech, and shows.  The fee is due no later than Orientation Day. Additional siblings can join the same program for $1657.00 ($1475.00 + HST).

A $200, non-refundable deposit of your tuition will be due at the acceptance of the role to secure your spot for the fall/winter production.

Mainstage Theatre Company is committed to offering accessible musical theatre training to all young actors aged 11-21. The Aubrey & Marla Dan Foundation Bursary Program permits Mainstage to offer full and partial bursaries to support those who would otherwise not be able to participate in our programming.
